Unfortunately I wasn't quite as blown away by this sequel as by the first book in the series. It was still good, but somewhat repetitive. Guess I prefer their English exploits to their Chinese ones. We'll see where the next book takes us.

IMO the series is really uneven. #1 was the high point for me and #6 definitely the lowest one, but in between it was all over the place and #7 was a surprising improvement.

That's really good to know, so thanks! I'm about 40% through book 3 and do think that one is slightly better. Not sure whether I'll continue with book 4. We'll see...
