Summary: Delia Hopkins has led a charmed life. Raised in rural New Hampshire by her beloved, widowed father, she now has a young daughter, a handsome fiance, and her own search-and-rescue bloodhound, which she uses to find missing persons. But as Delia plans her wedding, she is plagued by flashbacks of a life she can''t recall... until a policeman knocks on her door, revealing a secret about herself that changes the world as she knows it -- and threatens to jeopardize her future.
Review: After reading "The Pact" (which I did not like at ALL) I was a bit hesitant to try another JP book. However, I've loved everything else I read by her, so I thought I'd give it a shot, and I'm glad I did! It's really good! It's about a girl who at age 28 discovers that her father kidnapped her from her mother when she was 4 years old. She discovers because her father was arrested for the crime, and now her fiance (who happens to be a lawyer) has to fight to keep him out of prison. Not the happiest of books, but definitely a page-turner.
